DRAWING ON LOCATION
Drawing is a response to the visible world. Let’s meet the world head on. This class takes Josh Bayer's popular Basic drawing classes a step outside of the studio and into the parks and streets of our grand shared city. Classes focus on reproducing light effects with a variety of tools, drawing architecture, landscape and capturing movement. Class will visit NY Landmarks and a few places off the beaten path. Drawing people and places on location, on the street, in a public building, library, park, grand centeral staton or anywhere is what artists do...if you have never tired it ,this is the time to do it with a small group.
