NEW APPROACH TO FRENCH LITTERATURE ON YOUR TIME AND IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME OR OFFICE
www.frenchalamaison.com
L'Etranger D'Albert Camus
I have used L'Etranger with my French "A La Maison" students for years and thought that it could very well be adapted and taught as one on one READING / COMPREHENSION METHOD for people who are interested to further their knowledge in French more through French literature than standard conversation.
This Method Is Designed for EMAIL TO EMAIL Exchange
Your vocabulary and comprehension skill will drastically improve since I will be asking carefully chosen questions in French throughout the reading of the book, paragraph after paragraph and at the end of each chapter you will have a more general list of questions to answer.
Aujourd'hui, maman est morte. Ou peut-être hier, je ne sais pas. J'ai reçu un télégramme de l'asile: ''mère décédée. Enterrement demain. Sentiments distingués.'' Cela ne veut rien dire. C'était peut-être hier.
- mort/morte : dead
- reçu : received - verbe recevoir
- une asile : old folks home or nursing home or hospice
I will correct mistakes or suggest other ways to answer with a brief explanation.
Is this something you may find interesting ? So, if you are serious, please contact me at frenchalamaison@yahoo.com. ALSO, please visit me at : www.frenchalamaison.com. Hope to read you soon
