Trash Treasures of New York City is your go-to site for the best trash talk in New York City. I’m Nick DiMola, the founder and president of DiMola Bros garbage removal company. I’ve been running this business for more than three decades, serving businesses, contractors, organizations and residential customers in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx.

My job is to get rid of trash, but sometimes it’s not that easy for me. Over the last 30 years, rubbish removal has evolved from being just a job to an exciting hobby. Now, preserving interesting items I find on the job is my passion. I’ve collected thousands of items, like porcelain signs, old radios, photographs, coins, jewelry and old letters.

So, why did I create this blog? I believe in getting down to business and getting any job finished as quickly as possible, but I know how to have fun, too.
