STRATEGIC RESUME VS. CHEAP TEMPLATE RESUME

A cheap template resume really doesn't incorporate much strategy or thought. It usually is as simple as listing your jobs and duties in chronological order, education, name and address, and not much else. I have an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and was formerly an executive that has sat in the hiring chair myself. I am the owner of an Executive Recruiting Firm and see literally hundreds and thousands of resumes each year. It is easy at this point to see what makes a resume good, and what makes others fail. Unfortunately applicants who may be the best for the position don't always reflect that on paper.
