MANHATTAN NYC ! / My name is Sylvie

I have been teaching French, all levels,in New York City for over 18 years. I have created my own method because I couldn't find anything that was interesting enough for Adults to want to stay with it.

My method can be a bit academic at times but in the long run, you will have built a solid base. Through conversation and written exercises your speaking/writing skills will improve tremendously. I also use translation to help you get out of your comfortable (present/passe compose) zone.

I promise that although serious classes, you will have fun. If you don't have fun doing something you won't learn it right ?

PS I live on 14th Street, in the West Village/Chelsea Area. My apartment is very conducive to learning , it is quiet and has a beautiful open view of the city.
