Local blues rock artist DEBORAH MAGONE submitted for “ new artist” consideration 54th GRAMMYS!
Hi ! My name is Deborah Magone and a few months ago I released my 2nd cd “Alternate Realities” on Mirror Records/ House of Guitars record label and was wondering if you might consider it and/ or me for a review, feature, or interview in your publication.
I’ve currently been submitted for new artist consideration for the 54th Grammy Awards,
I previously received praise from Clear Channel FOX radio DJ Brother Wease, & frequently from Sunday Night Shakedown 98.9 the BUZZ w/Frank DeBlase, Kimberly & Beck The Morning Show, in Rochester, NY. Rochester Woman magazine, Freetime Entertainment magazine, The Rhythm & Blues Revue in Buffalo, NY, the Haze FM Toronto, Canada, Michel Reur’s Live Blues Radio in France among others.
I’ve performed with such artists as The Campbell Brothers, Janice Marie Johnson(A Taste of Honey) , Tammy Diddley, The BBKing Allstar Band in Memphis, and performed in Okinawa,Japan , The House of Blues & throughout the Los Angeles area, Canada and New York State.
I’m currently in production shooting 2 new music videos w/ director Neal Dhand for “It’s All About Money” a rally cry for some of the current 99% protestors in New York state & the other video with director David Weilert for “Clean Up Woman” (a fan favorite) at SUNY Brockport.
“Alternate Realities” is “Rock & Kick Your Ass Blues “consisting of 12 original songs high-energy guitar playing, powerful vocals & heartfelt lyrics combined with some soulful gospel /blues & a beautiful & often requested rock ballad called, “ Forever “, which received frequent airplay as a single as far away as Asia!
