The Apartment and Your Room
A large bedroom (12' X 15') with double door closet, is available for rent in this turn-of-the-19th century townhouse which is tucked into the rocky hillside. It is the perfect mix of out of the madness of the city but still close to it all...If you are a history and music lover, you will really enjoy it here. You would share this with two males, ages 27 and 28. I am musician and a sound engineer and our other roommate is a professional drummer and instructor, so music is a large influence over the house. We are both clean, respectful, laid back, and friendly individuals looking for a cool person to share this house with! We would prefer some one in the range of 21 to 34 years old. Male or Female is equally preferable.

The monthly rent is $650, but does not include any utilities. So when everything is all said and done the monthly bill comes to around $750 in the summer and $800 in the winter. We have Wi-Fi, digital cable (both of which are included in the monthly utilities and split three ways), full kitchen (with dishwasher), two bathrooms, and a sweet 2nd story outdoor patio built into the mountain upstairs. Parking is free.

A $1,200 (2-month) security deposit is required - This is possible to do in two separate payments

The room is currently available for viewing and will be vacant by the 1st of March.

This apartment is 10 minutes from the 1 and 4 MTA Subway lines in the Bronx, and within walking distance to the Metro-North and Westchester Bee-line bus lines. This location also offers easy access to the Saw Mill Pkwy, Cross County Pkwy, and I-87.

There is also a nice grocery store right at the end of our street. All in all, it's a great location!
