Prices are $1250 a week for your cottage on a Individual Island.
Welcome to Grant Island
The Island cottage is on Grant Island which sits nicely in South West bay of Brantingham Lake. Brantingham Lake has a 15 mile circumference
and is located 45 minutes north of Utica via rt 12. Located two hrs from Albany and four.five from N Y C City. (see MAPS AND flats tab to see out how far we are from you)
Grant Island is a Great spot for your vacation if you own dogs. While on the island they are free to run and play all day instead of being leashed up. They will thank you for the week of freedom.
Included in the rental at no extra charge is a 25 hp 18 ft pontoon boat. Your free to use it for recreation as well as travel to and from the mainland shore where your cars are parked.
Your welcome to bring your own boats and watercrafts! There is RM to dock them.
On weekends the lake is lively with plenty of boating and water sports and on weekdays it is usually very quiet and peaceful.
The island is approximately two acres and has two cottages. We rent both cottages at special request but normally rent only 1. The other cottage is for management. There is usually only 1 other tenant on the island to make sure that things are running smoothly, to help you with anything and to answer any questions you may have.
The Island is about 2000 ft from the shore where you are parked. So its close enough to get on and off the Island quickly but far enought to have privacy and solitude.
The Island Rental Cottage is a four bedroom semi Individual cottage sleeping up to 8 (see
pricing) which comes completely equipped with all amenities. The Island receives Cable, Internet and Electricity. Stove, Microwave, Silverware, China, Pots, Pans, Coffee maker, Large sink, 34' TV, CD, DVD, VCR, Stereo Surround sound, Super Nintendo are all included.
There is Wireless wifi so if you have business to take care of bring your laptop. A computer can be supplied on request at no additional cost if you need as well.
Bed arrangement consist of the following:
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed,
Bedroom two - Double bed,
Bedroom three - Double Bed,
Bedroom four - two single beds.
Living Rm has a pull out futon.
You can bring your own linens or
They can be supplied for you.
Cottage has an active brick fireplace and a limited amount of wood is supplied.
Outside there is an accent lit walkway to the lake area. There is a picnic table, large BBQ grill, lounge chairs and hammock to relax in.
Water area has a breakwall boarder in about 1 1/two ft of water with a dock, ladder and floating raft 50 ft from shore.
Washer and Dryer are available for $20 a day usage.
Management has 2 small dogs on the island whose pictures are on the webpage. Both are very friendly and lovable but if you prefer not to see them they are kept away.
There is plenty of Rm for parking on the mainland. you can park upto three vehicles for the Island cottage and two for the A frame cottage.
These cottages are located in the Adirondack park about 45 minutes north of Utica New York.

Canoes are free to use.
There is Amazing fishing on the lake. Large mouth Bass, Pickerel, Bullhead, Whitefish and much more, so bring your poles. Some of the best fishing in the lake is right off the Dock. You don't even have
to go out in a boat.There are hundreds of miles of Bike and ATV trails on the mainland so if you like riding you can bring your four wheelers, Snowmobiles or mountain bikes. In the winter time people come to the area just for
the trails.
There are four restaurants within 1mile of your parking area to eat at and plenty of busy bars to go to at night which on weekends usually
host Located right bands.
For Golf enthusiasts Brantingham is host to a wonderful 18 hole complete size golf course less than 2 miles from where your parked. Grab your clubs and spend an afternoon relaxing on the greens.
Located just Six miles away is an old fashioned DRIVE INN MOVIE THEATER. All the latest movies are played Thursday - Sunday and you can listen on your car radio. An old fashioned concession stand is there as well for popcorn and snacks.
